World's Largest Truck Parade...March 28
Here is a great event I’m helping promote for Heinrich Chevrolet. If you like trucks, or just wacky events, you should be there!!!
Heinrich Chevy to host “World’s Largest Chevy Truck Parade”
LOCKPORT, NY – Heinrich Chevy, (www.heinrichchevy.com), one of the region’s leading Chevy truck dealers, has been approved to try for the Guinness Book of World RecordsTMLargest Chevy Truck Parade. The parade will wind through Lockport on March 28 at 1 p.m. as the grand finale to Chevrolet’s Truck Month Event.
Organizers expect over 1,000 trucks to partake in the parade, and participants can register online at http://chevrolettruckmonth.com/. Event goers will have the opportunity to win hundreds of prizes, and live music, raffles and food will be available. Heinrich hopes the event will allow Chevy Truck lovers to gather to take pride in their vehicles. The dealer will also donate $10 dollars to Niagara Hospice for every truck involved.
“We think this event will be a fun way for Chevy Truck owners to get together, while simultaneously raising money for a good cause,” said Larry Bryer, sales manager. “With over 100 truck owners already pre-registered, we expect a fantastic turn out.”
The parade route will start at Outwater Park in Lockport, and end at Heinrich Chevrolet at 5775 S. Transit Road, Lockport. Prizes will be awarded for:
Most Accessorized Truck.- Most Unique Truck.
- Truck that traveled the furthest distance to attend event.

So, I’ve decided to give into my tech geekdom (which is buried there somewhere, since I work with technology and social media a lot) and get into this tumblr business which my friends are using quite a bit. It is a great way to promote events and businesses that I am working with, as well as discuss cool things going on with organizations I work with in the community.
